竹塹城東門 迎曦門
The East Gate

竹塹城於西元1733年興建，並於1827年改建，重新堪定地基。築造周圍為磚石造城牆，並建立四座城樓，東門為迎曦門、西門為挹爽門、南門為歌薰門、北門為拱辰門，日據之後因為實施都市街道改正，於1902年拆掉城牆與城樓，只存東門迎曦門。

Zhuqian City was built in 1733 and renovated in 1827, with the foundation being reinforced. The city was surrounded by brick walls and had four gates: the East Gate, the West Gate, the South Gate, and the North Gate. After the Japanese colonial period, the implementation of the urban renewal policy led to the demolition of the city walls and gates in 1902, leaving only the East Gate standing.
