The Police Dormitory on Nanda Road is adjacent to the Japanese colonial period "Railway Department Dormitory Area." Reflecting the historical backgrounds of Shimozhu and Kurokin-cho, the Police Dormitory on Nanda Road operates under the name of Shimozhu-cho. It is then combined with the nearby "Shimozhu House," which previously was the residence of the Deputy Chief of the Police Bureau, and the "Houshan Park," which has a railway theme, creating a novel green living space in the Houshan area.
